The Edinburgh Tea & Coffee Company History

The Edinburgh Tea & Coffee Company began in 1812 when Andrew Melrose imported the highest quality tea into Edinburgh's Dock.

 

This tradition is proudly continued today in purpose built, SALSA Certified and Accredited premises, beside the Firth of Forth. Coincidentally the same stretch of the Forth where Andrew Melrose imported China tea on the Tea Clipper "Isabella".

With over 200 years experience ETCC are one of Scotland's oldest artisan tea and coffee manufacturers.  With the finest, fresh loose leaf tea and green coffee beans, blended and roasted in small batches to exacting standards.  The Edinburgh Tea and Coffee Company enjoy an enviable UK and international reputation.

The innovative 56g Coffee Blends, in attractive colour bags, are well established within the Hamper Trade.
